[MANNAM KOREAN CLASS] Korean
Number – Lesson 2
Did you memorize all the
Korean numbers?
If you did, you are half way
done.
The other half that we will
talk about today is count unit.
In English, only a number
goes well with the sentence.
However, when you speak
Korean, you have to add count unit with the number.
It’s okay
until here, but the thing is, counts units are different depends on object.
At first, when Korean kids
learn this, they also have hard time memorizing all the units, but you will get
used to it when you use this a lot.
There are lots of different
kinds of units but today, I will talk about some of the units, that is used the
most.

If, you are confused and can’t remember
these units, just use ‘개’.
However, when you are saying
about person, don’t use ‘개’.
Make sure you use 명‘ instead
of ’개‘.
You don’t want to
make person as an animal, right?
Be careful about this!
