MANNAM family~how do you call your family??

What was the first word you said when you start babbling??
90% of people would have said ‘mama’ or ‘papa’.
For Korean, our first word is ‘엄마(Umma)’, or ‘(Appa)’ which is mom and dad.
Also the word that kids say the most is about  their family.
So! Let’s learn how to say your family in KoreanJ

@Korean Vocabulary
#할아버지(Hal a beo ji) / 할머니(hal meo ni) : Grandpa / Grandma
#아버지(A beo ji) / 어머니(eo meo ni) : Father / Mother
#아빠(Appa) / 엄마(Umma) : Mommy / Daddy
#(Hyeong) / 오빠(Oppa) : Older Brother
#언니(eon ni) / 누나(Nuna) : Older Sister
#남동생(Namdongsaeng) / 여동생(Yeodongsaeng) : Younger brother / Younger Sister
* = Man / = Woman – 동생 = Younger sibling

#Usually for man, after they come back from military service, they start to call their father 아버지 J
#and 언니 is for same sibling.
Ex) Younger sister call her older sister 언니
Ex) Younger brother call his older brother
#오빠 and 누나 is for different sibling.
Ex) younger brother call his older sister 누나
Ex) younger sister call her older brother 오빠

Family is the one whom we need the most.
However, sometimes others can be your family.
Eventhough they are not related with you through blood.
If we share same goals and thoughts, we could be a familly too.
